Nik & Trick Photographic Services was incorporated in 2012 by Nikki Coulson and Richard Taylor, it runs from a small shop in the Creative Quarter of Folkestone in England.
Richard has grown up with photography courtesy of parents who were professional photographers. The Taylor family archive dates back beyond 1958!
So genetically, there is a love of some of the greatest years of analogue photography...a love of the art and of the hardware and quite a bit of experience to boot...
Over the past few years, derived from the efforts and hard work put into in Richard Taylor Photography we've been through the process of perfecting "the end product" bringing products and services of professional standard to the public.
We have now sourced a range of fantastic suppliers from all around the world, all with a similar mindset and many with very unique products that we can bring to the marketplace.
Our services are vast and varied, from digital printing through processing and digitising of film etc...what formats do we cover? Everything from an SD card to 35mm to medium format up and through to 10x8 large format...nowhere else do you find such a range in one place!
On site we have a superbly equipped darkroom which is offered for hire and for training....we are also now bringing chemical printing and alternate processes to the digital photographer via the making of digital negatives.
There's nothing like a classic camera...we refurbish and beautify cameras for sale to enthusiasts and have ensured that the ammunition to run them is readily available in our shop. But we went further still and have built a lovely relationship with a high quality manufacturer of film and are proud to offer their wonderful products under our own labels...
We continue to seek new and unusual products, to find new and interesting stuff for our customers to experiment with and enjoy, to go where no other photography shop goes!
